The '06 Pinot Noir Amber Ridge Vineyard is our first vintage.
The fruit was handpicked from a Dijon clone 777 block on September 26.
Inoculated with RC212 yeast after a four day cold soak.
Aged for eleven months in a neutral Francois Freres oak barrel.
Bottled on September 6, 2007 (0906).
Unfined and unfiltered. Only 9 cases produced.
Tasting Notes
Ruby orange in color. Intense aroma of acacia and raspberry.
Fresh and crisp, juicy red fruit and tart acidity.
Decent food wine, nicely balanced at 13.8% alcohol.
